About the Journal
Jurnal Keperawatan Komprehensif (Comprehensive Nursing Journal), abbreviated as JKK, is an open-access, peer-reviewed nursing journal published by STIKep PPNI Jawa Barat in collaboration with DPW PPNI Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Established in 2013, the journal publishes four issues annually, in January, April, July, and October. JKK has published articles in English since July 2021.
JKK aims to advance nursing knowledge and support evidence-informed nursing practice, education, and service management. The journal welcomes contributions that address meaningful nursing problems, use appropriate methods, and explain their implications for patient care, professional practice, or healthcare delivery. Research conducted in local settings is encouraged to articulate its relevance to nursing knowledge and practice beyond the immediate study context.
The journal’s scope includes medical-surgical nursing, critical care nursing, community nursing, mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, maternity and women’s health nursing, geriatric nursing, and nursing administration and management. JKK considers original research articles, review articles, and case reports relevant to these areas. Its readership includes nursing researchers, practitioners, educators, managers, and policymakers.
Submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial assessment for relevance to the journal’s scope, compliance with submission requirements, and suitability for further evaluation. Manuscripts that pass this assessment proceed to double-anonymized peer review. Editorial decisions are made following consideration of the reviewers’ evaluations and the authors’ responses, where revisions are requested.
Authors should consult the journal’s policies on peer review, publication ethics, author charges, copyright, and licensing before submitting a manuscript. Submissions are managed through the journal’s online submission system.
Jurnal Keperawatan Komprehensif (Comprehensive Nursing Journal) has been nationally accredited based on the Decree of Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Number : 152/E/KPT/2023 with SINTA Score 4.
